only measures how many IMAP sessions connecting to S7
system at any particular time. Throughwave chooses IMAP
license over other type of license, because we believe
that customer wants to utilize S7 hardware to the fullest
potential instead of capping usage with expensive and
under utilize mailbox license. We can also say that all
S7 systems shipped with unlimited mailbox license. |

about POP, SMTP, or HTTP connections number? |
| IMAP license doesn't limit
POP, SMTP, or HTTP connections. In the other word, any
number of users can have POP, SMTP, or HTTP connections
at the same time. S7 scales up to 20,000 concurrent IMAP
connections. |

if we want more mail storage than default 73 GB? |
| You can order S7 with storage
size that you need up to one Tera byte, when you place
your order. Please consult with your sale representative
for the best mail storage size for your messaging need. |

is the suitable number of concurrent IMAP connection? |
| It depends on usage pattern
of your organization. In most cases, the default 500 concurrent
IMAP connections license should be able to deal with any
large number of users up to the scale of multiple thousands.
However, if your organization has a lot of users that
using IMAP e-mail clients instead of web mail, you might
need to increase the number of concurrent IMAP connections
