Throughwave (Thailand) is looking for a highly motivated Platform Support System Engineer.

This position suits someone with background in both Unix and Programming, but is also good for someone from Unix background who wants to expand his/her career path to include Java.

Requirement:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent (little experience or none is O. K.).
• Knowledge on Unix System fundamental.
• Experience programming in Java, C, or C++.
• Experience with Unix shell script.
• Experience with Unix system administrator, especially Solaris, BSD, or Linux.
• WAN and LAN networking design and administrator.
• Understanding of various networking topics such as, DHCP, e-mail operations, DNS, and VPN.
• Constructive attitude and willingness to work as part of a global team.
• Self starter, good interpersonal skills, and effective communication skills.
• Good English skills, both written and verbal.
