:: Customer Support Representative ::


Throughwave (Thailand) is looking for a highly motivated customer support representative to support Throughwave (Thailand)'s customers. You will contribute to the support process before systems are installed and will assume responsibility for customer satisfaction. Service response will involve diagnosing faults and interacting with field staff, dispatching replacement modules, and attending locations directly. You will also prepare and conduct basic training for field personnel.

You will have excellent communications skills and attention to detail. We also expect you to be flexible, bright, articulate, enthusiastic, and friendly. A background in PCs, software, Windows NT/2000/XP/2003, electronics, communications will be a significant advantage.

The role will involve some after hours monitoring of customer calls. You must be willing to work as part of a committed and results oriented team. Excellent career potential available to the right person.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in timely problem solving to ensure their satisfaction
  • Escalate urgent issues to appropriate authorities and provide
    necessary follow-ups.
  • Responsible for defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, drawing valid conclusions, and successfully implementing corrective actions.
  • Operating under minimal supervision, will summarize technical or service problems identified during customer inquiries.
  • Track record of all customers’ problems. Document work thoroughly to capture each technical problem, the trouble shooting steps used, and the resolution
  • Display ability to perform the core job responsibilities as well as contributing to product improvement by documenting solutions, and contributing ideas and solutions
  • Assist Development and Quality Engineers in recreating defects and testing code changes as necessary for problem resolution
  • Involvement in any additional follow up, testing and troubleshooting

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer or related fields
  • 1-2 years of experience in troubleshooting will be an advantage
  • Enthusiastic and energetic with good analytical skill
  • Customer-oriented and result-driven with service mind
  • Able to communicate fluently in Thai and functionally in English
  • Good English reading and writing
